How many bottles have we re-used? 250 tons of glass saved from the dump
We have filled over 750,000 bottles in the last 5 years. With our recycling rate of over 70% that means we have washed over half a million bottles, that also means we have saved these half million bottles from being dumped. With small bottles weighing 250g that is 125 tons of glass saved at best from being melted to at worst being dumped in landfill.
In ten years that is 250 tons of glass saved.
Just think of the savings in CO2, it is well worth the effort.
